Raised in an environment that fostered creativity, Emily began her passion for art at an early age. This carried her to study at Brigham Young University earning her BFA. She achieved a life-long dream by studying abroad in Italy and followed that experience with a two and a half year apprenticeship under Jeff Hein at the Hein Academy of Art. After completing her studies, she opened her own studio where she currently paints and teaches. Her involvement in the local art community includes a year of service on the executive board of the Inspirational Art Association as well as co-creating a first-of-its-kind exhibit titled "Certain Women", exclusively showcasing LDS women artists. Emily has a deep love for spiritual matters as well as an interest in strengthening the lives of women throughout the world. Her work reflects her love for God and family.
